WELCOME TOTHE INTERNET
BEGGAR.
I built a website to do the one thing the internet told me not to do…
Ask strangers for money.
No sob story. No charity. No product. No service. Just a website, a fictional beggar, and an obscene amount of confidence.
SO FAR
AN UNNECESSARILY HONEST PITCH
THE WORLD'S MOST
QUESTIONABLE
BUSINESS MODEL.
The Internet Beggar is a fictional digital panhandler in an online comedy experiment: can someone make an absurdly elaborate website, hold out a virtual cup, and persuade strangers to chip in simply because the premise is funny? There is no charity claim, investment promise, or manufactured emergency. The experiment is about humor, curiosity, and voluntary personal support.
That's it. That's the pitch. If you laughed, we've already accomplished something. If you didn't, please forward this to someone with a worse sense of humor.

FREQUENTLY
ASKED THINGS.
Our legal department (me, reading carefully) wanted a few things to be exceptionally clear.
Are you actually homeless?+
No. The Internet Beggar is a fictional comedy character. This project doesn't claim the creator is homeless, and it isn't raising money for homelessness services.
Is this a charity or fundraiser for a cause?+
No. It's an entertainment project. Any future contributions would go to the creator personally, minus any applicable fees. They are not tax-deductible charitable donations.
Do I receive a product or special reward?+
No product, no subscription, no financial return. Just the satisfaction of having participated in a remarkably unnecessary internet experiment.
Can I pay right now?+
Not yet. This is a working website preview. Payments remain disabled until the creator sets up an eligible Ko-fi account, verifies the payment experience, and connects it to the site.
Who is behind the character?+
The character is fictional and the creator uses a public stage identity. Payment providers may have access to the creator's verified legal information, and certain information may be visible to payers depending on the provider.
What if I want a refund, or something goes wrong?+
Payments are not active yet. Before launch, the site will provide a support contact. Payment disputes and any refund requests will be handled under applicable law and the checkout provider’s policies. You can review the Legal page for our current prelaunch explanation.
STILL HERE? INCREDIBLE.
You made it to the bottom. That is already more commitment than my business plan deserves.
